If you have ever taught a sunday school class you should know it is hard to keep a childs attention for more than 15 Seconds. I'm a sunday school teacher ( and a 2 year bible college student) and I think vegietales and others are great! These stories are aimed to teach kids the core lesson yet enteratain them enough so they understand what is going on AND are able to stay focused and learn. children will not listen to a class that is like a boring lecture. i'm sorry, we can as adults, but children just dont work that way. when they get older they will learn the technicalities of the story but while they're young, let them be children. its TRUE, Stories should be told the way they were intended and should NOT be changed around to suit another agenda.... And in actual truth, I like vegie tales, I like watching it! I dont use it to study for my exams but it is a light hearted show that teaches kids exactly what they need to know. Maybe you should sit in for a sunday school class and watch how children behave and interact with the way a story is presented... you might learn a few things. I disagree.

I agree, travesty occurs every sunday as kids are roobed of major biblical truths, and that sermon you listed might be an even greater travesty. Lionel, thanks for the links, I want to listen in.
