I read this book over a year ago. I reread it again with new lens during my anniversary while my wife rested. Just as the first time I read it I still recommend the book. However the editors actually have an update book which is called “House Church ~ Simple, Strategic, Scriptural” . The book simply lays out:
The Lord’s Supper as a Meal
Paticapatory Gatherings
The purpose and function of Elders
Small Gatherings (or House Gatherings)
Church Discipline
Those are but a few. You can buy the book at New Testament Restoration Fellowship . I recommend the book though I may disagree with some of the tone of the book overall it was an eye opener then and with a little better understanding I enjoyed it more during my second read.

I think some of the subjects. They don’t sound really conversational sort of matter of fact. But I do agree with their conclusions.
I quite like the folks down at NTRF, and will try to pick up a copy of their book.
